The RISTI (Revista Ibérica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informação) is a scientific journal, owned by ITMA (Information and Technology Management Association), which focuses on innovative research and practical application in the field of Information Systems and Technologies.
The Editorial Committee of RISTI encourages potential authors to submit original and innovative papers for evaluation.
The submission of papers for publication in RISTI should take place according to the calls of papers and rules and instructions available in the journal website (https://www.risti.xyz).
All papers submitted are evaluated by a set of members of the Scientific Committee of no less than three elements.
In each issue are published five to eight of the best papers submitted.

Abstract: The abstract should not exceed 150 words. This document can be used as a reference for the final edition of submitted articles. The font used in the abstract should be in size-9 “Georgia” with simple spacing and a heading of 1cm both to the left and the right.

Key-Words: insert a maximum of five words, divided by semicolons.

1. Introduction

Articles submitted to the RISTI should respect the format presented in this paper. We suggest using this paper as a reference when editing the article.

In the following sections we describe the formats that should be adopted in titles, subtitles and main text of the document, as well as the format applied to subtitles in tables and figures, and the norms used in the references.

Articles can be written in Portuguese or Spanish.

The article must not exceed 18 pages in its whole, while observing the format here described.

Headlines and footnotes will be added by the editors.

2. Page Format

The page format should be A4, with a top margin of 6,5 cm, a bottom margin of 5,5 cm and 4 cm both to in left and the right margins.

3. Text Format

The text formats of the articles submitted to the RISTI are presented in this section.

3.1. Title of the Article

The title of the article should be left-justified, in size-14, bold “Georgia” font, with simple spacing and followed by a 24-point spacing. This format corresponds to the title style.

3.2. Sections and Subsections

Titles in sections should be in size-11, bold “Georgia” font, left- aligned, with simple spacing and a paragraph spacing of 18- and 6-points, before and after the text, respectively. This format corresponds to the heading1 style. Sections should be sequentially numbered.

For the titles in subsections, a bold “Georgia” font in size-10, with simple spacing, preceded by a 12-point and followed by a 6-point paragraph spacing (heading2 style) should be chosen.

When necessary, subsections should be divided in blocks with titles, these should not be numbered and should be in size-10, italic “Georgia” font, with simple spacing, preceded by a 12-point and followed by a 6-point paragraph spacing (heading3 style) formatting.

3.3. Text

The text in the article should be in size-10 “Georgia”, justified and with simple spacing.

Bulleted or numbered lists should respect the following format:

Format of a bulleted list:

• 0,8cm left-heading and pending text of 0,5cm.
• Corresponds to the Bullet Item style.

Format of a numbered list:

1. 0,8cm left-heading and pending text of 0,5cm.
2. Corresponds to the Numbered Item style.

3.4. Subtitles in Figures and Tables

Figures and tables should be centered in the page and sequentially numbered. For subtitles in figure and tables the Figlegend and Tablelegend pre-defined styles should be used.

Subtitles in figures should appear at the bottom, in size-9 “Georgia” font, centered, with simple spacing, preceded by a 6-point and followed by a 12-point paragraph spacing.

Subtitles in tables should appear at the top, in size-9 “Georgia” font, centered, with simple spacing, preceded by a 12-point and followed by a 6-point paragraph spacing.

3.5. Footnotes

Notes will be presented in the footer at the bottom of every page, in size-9 “Georgia” font with simple spacing.

4. Conclusions

This document can be used as a reference for the final edition of submitted articles.

5. References

The list of references and the citations in the text should follow the guidelines set forth by the APA (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association).

References should be listed alphabetically, with the name of the authors, the complete title for the cited work, title of the source, volume and publication year.
In the text, the names of the authors and the publication years should be referred; for example (Silva, 2005) or (Silva, Oliveira & Pereira, 2005).

The list of references, enclosed in the end of the article, should be formatted in size-10 “Georgia” font, with simple spacing and pending text of 0,7cm. Note the following example:
