A História de vida se relaciona ao relatar a si mesmo a partir da relação do indivíduo com o grupo e a sociedade, no ato de inscrever sua experiência na temporalidade. E nesse relato, a força política da teoria queer pode possibilitar a desestabilização das identidades essencializadas sob o padrão hétero-cis-normativo, o que ecoa no contexto organizacional ao generificar os cargos e as ocupações. Este estudo se justifica devido ser necessário aprofundar as discussões sobre a história de vida, a fim de avançar o campo das pesquisas qualitativas nos Estudos Organizacionais, considerando a escassez da sistematização desse conhecimento à luz da Teoria queer. Tendo em vista essas questões, é que este estudo tem como objetivo compreender o enfoque teórico-metodológico da história de vida à luz da Teoria queer e suas contribuições para os Estudos Organizacionais. Para tal, buscou-se compreender como as pesquisas qualitativas biográficas podem se apropriar de elementos da Teoria queer para expandir os seus debates no campo dos Estudos Organizacionais? Essa investigação embasou-se em uma abordagem de revisão teórico a partir de artigos nacionais e internacionais associados ao tema e em autores como Butler (2017, 2019), Delory-Momberger (2012, 2016), Ferraroti (2007) e Ricoeur (2012). As constatações do estudo contribuíram com uma proposta de abordagem às pesquisas qualitativas biográficas a partir de elementos destacados da história de vida à luz da Teoria queer, como a queerização das experiências de vida a partir da subversão das normas sociais de gênero e sexualidade impostas, o que aponta indícios de novos caminhos e agendas de estudo para pesquisadores que se debruçam sobre investigações que contemplam histórias de vida nos Estudos Organizacionais. Contribuindo assim, para o papel político das estratégias de coleta de dados nas pesquisas qualitativas.

Life history is related to self-report from the individual's relationship with the group and society, in the act of inscribing his experience in temporality. And in this report, the political force of queer theory can make it possible to destabilize essentialized identities under the hetero-cis-normative pattern, which echoes in the organizational context when gendering positions and occupations. In view of these issues, this study aims to understand the theoretical-methodological approach of life history in the light of queer theory and its contributions to Organizational Studies. It is necessary to deepen the discussions on life history, in order to advance the field of qualitative research in Organizational Studies, considering the scarcity of systematization of this knowledge in the light of queer theory. To this end, the discussions were supported by national and international articles associated with the topic and authors such as Butler (2017, 2019), Delory-Momberger (2012, 2016), Ferraroti (2007) and Ricoeur (2012). The findings of the study contributed to highlight elements of life history in the light of queer theory, such as the queerization of life experiences from the subversion of imposed social norms of gender and sexuality, which points to evidence of new paths and study agendas for researchers who focus on investigations that contemplate life stories in Organizational Studies.
