A tese metodológica é um projeto antigo que visa ver os trabalhos nas Ciências Sociais do ponto de vista metodológico em vez do teórico. Os objetivos desta proposta podem ser diversos, mas os centrais são avaliar o trabalho científico efetuado, validando-o e melhorar uma investigação no seu decurso ou posteriormente. O que é proposto neste artigo não é novidade, tendo sido encontrado em muitas obras metodológicas com exemplos de boas e más práticas, assim como sugestões de como se deveria proceder. Na pesquisa efetuada para este artigo não se encontraram obras que do início ao fim tivesse efetuado uma análise vista do ponto técnico e metodológico. A proposta que é aqui apresentada consiste em fazer uma tese dentro de outra tese, invertendo os polos, a metodologia vista como teoria e a teoria vista como metodologia. Nesta inversão dá-se mais atenção à metodologia, aprofundando-a indo além do mero procedimento, assim como a todos os elementos que em nome da redução foram omitidos do trabalho final. A tese metodológica é principalmente qualitativa, não visa a universalidade e a representatividade estatística, mas sim a transversalidade e intersecçionalidade dos métodos assim como das técnicas. Apesar de ser uma metodologia qualitativa, existe uma abertura quer para metodologias mistas quer quantitativas. A ideia central defende que qualquer investigação quantitativa ou qualitativa é única porque se realiza num contexto social, cultural, económico e temporal único. Os métodos e as técnicas são transversais a cada contexto, mas tomam formas específicas perante a especificidade de cada investigação. Neste campo pode recorrer-se á abdução quer á indução analítica, olha-se para uma investigação de uma forma aberta com todo o seu potencial. No final resulta o desenvolvimento de um olhar crítico com a tomada de consciência do trabalho realizado.

The methodological thesis os an old project that aims to see the work in the Social Sciences in the methodological point of view instead of the theoretical. The objectives of this proposal can be several. The main are to evaluate scientific work that have been done, validating it and improving one research during his corse or after the same. What is proposed in this article isn’t new, it has been found in many methodological books with good and bad practices, as well how it should proceed. In the research done to this article, it wasn’t found woks that from the beginning to the end done in the point of view technical and methodological. The presented proposal invites the researcher to do a thesis inside other theses. Reversing the poles, the methodology is seen as theorys and theory as methodology. In this reversion the main attention is given to the methodology, deepen it and Going beyond the mere procedure, just as, all elements due reduction process had been omitted. The methodological theses are mainly qualitative, neither aim for universality nor statistical representativity, but the transversality and intersectionality of methods and techniques. Although it is one qualitative methodology, there are one openness either to mixed methodology or quantitative. The main idea argues that any research qualitative or quantitative is unique because it is done in a social, cultural, economic, and temporal unique. The methods and techniques are transversal to all contexts, but the tale specific forms before the specificity of each research. In this field it can be used either abduction other the analytical induction. In the end, the outcome is the development of a critical eye and to be aware of the work done.
