La presente investigación da respuesta a la necesidad de sistematizar los conocimientos comunitarios andinos compartidos y legitimados, a fin de dar continuidad a los procesos étnicos sociales desarrollados por el investigador desde hace más de una década de haber participado y construido experiencias y saberes locales a través de la investigación cualitativa., y a su vez promover el turismo comunitario sustentable en la comunidad Fakcha Llakta, Cantón Otavalo, Ecuador. El propósito fue plasmar la reconstrucción histórica emergida de la experiencia comunitaria indígena kichwa otavaleña, fundamentada en la práctica de saberes educativos ambientales, culturales y el ecoturismo, efectuados en el Bosque Protector “Cascada de Peguche”. El trabajo investigativo se sustenta en el paradigma cualitativo socio construccionista, con enfoque etnográfico, de tipo interpretativo, sustentado en un estudio de campo, de carácter descriptivo y documental, mediante la observación participante. La obtención de la información se realizó mediante entrevistas en profundidad a informantes clave de la comunidad indígena seleccionados según criterios específicos: liderazgo, compromiso social, voluntad de participar, confianza y empatía, entre otros. Los hallazgos o resultados se fundamentan en la construcción de hitos educativos ambientales como: El Aviturismo, Ecoturismo y Turismo Cultural de Fakcha Llakta; Aprendizaje Consolidado- Significativo en el Ecoturismo Comunitario; Aprendizaje Socioeconómico, Educativo-Ambiental; Valores Sociales, Motivación, Autoestima y Capacidades locales; y La Minga como Sabiduría Ancestral para el Desarrollo Socio-Productivo. Hitos o dimensiones emergidos e implementados para impulsar el turismo comunitario, inmersos en el conocimiento cotidiano, la sabiduría andina y la oralidad ancestral expresada en su accionar en la continua proyección, perfeccionamiento e incorporación de nuevos conocimientos con visión local de futuro para sus generaciones.

This research responds to the need to systematize shared and legitimized Andean community knowledge, in order to give continuity to the social ethnic processes developed by the researcher for more than a decade of having participated and built local experiences and knowledge through qualitative research., and in turn promote sustainable community tourism in the Fakcha Llakta community, Otavalo Canton, Ecuador. The purpose was to capture the historical reconstruction that emerged from the Otavaleña Kichwa indigenous community experience, based on the practice of environmental, cultural and ecotourism educational knowledge, carried out in the “Cascada de Peguche” Protected Forest. The research work is based on the socio-constructionist qualitative paradigm, with an ethnographic approach, of an interpretive type, supported by a descriptive and documentary field study, through participant observation. Information was obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants from the indigenous community selected according to specific criteria: leadership, social commitment, willingness to participate, trust and empathy, among others. The findings or results are based on the construction of environmental educational milestones such as: Fakcha Llakta Birdwatching, Ecotourism and Cultural Tourism; Consolidated-Significant Learning in Community Ecotourism; Socioeconomic, Educational- Environmental Learning; Social Values, Motivation, Self-esteem and Local Capacities; and La Minga as Ancestral Wisdom for Socio-Productive Development. Milestones or dimensions emerged and implemented to promote community tourism, immersed in everyday knowledge, Andean wisdom and ancestral orality expressed in their actions in the continuous projection, improvement and incorporation of new knowledge with a local vision of the future for their generations.
