SILVA, Cristiane; GUERRA, Cecília    SANTOS, Maria de Fátima Luz. Training of Professional Education Teachers: A Systematic Review of the Literature. []. , 17, e905.   01--2023. ISSN 2184-7770.  https://doi.org/10.36367/ntqr.17.2023.e905.

Technological transformations have caused significant changes in societies and, consequently, in the world of work. This situation has placed new demands on educational institutions and the professionals who work in them. Thus, preparation for the world of work has required new competencies from teachers and students/future professionals. As part of broader doctoral research, this work aims to identify and systematize the theoretical and methodological foundations of the training of teachers who work in specific technical areas through a systematic literature review, with articles available in the databases of the Scopus and CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher-Level Personnel) platforms, published in the period from 2017 to 2021. The studies show a diversity of theoretical and methodological foundations that permeate the reflections on teacher training in professional education, highlighting the specificity of the didactic-pedagogical field and teachers' experience/action as important elements to be considered in processes of professional development through training. The potential of participative, interactive work and the development of competencies is also emphasized. Thus, this work intends to contribute to the clarification of the field of teacher training in professional education, as well as to systematize possibilities for action in the research project underway.
