Initially, monitoring edicts elaborated by the Support Center for People with Special Needs (NAPNE) of this campus, during the period from 2017 to 2019, were analyzed, as well as the policies and regulations that guided its elaboration. Then, the relevance of the monitoring program for the training of visually impaired students was verified, based on the activity reports filled out by monitors and assisted students. The survey results point that the edicts that regulate the program have been perfected over the years, and that monitors are essential in the strategic accessibility plan for visually impaired students.
