The Brazilian Lívio Abramo legacy is an immense and rich work, especially in woodcut, and has influenced a generation of Brazilian artists. Self-taught, Lívio had German expressionism as reference, dedicating to the theme of the suburbs of São Paulo and other social issues, and afterwords following his own path, developing and perfecting a personal language.
