Abstract

ROJAS REDONDO, Carlos  and  GARCIA GARCIA, Fernando. Salustiano: portraits of stripped identity. Estúdio [online]. 2015, vol.6, n.12, pp.112-121. ISSN 1647-6158.

This paper analyzes the work of the painter Salustiano highlighting the game of times and mirrors generated through the exchange of gazes. Portrait frames the possibilities of a figuration disfigured underlining that the only raw material of the work is: the reflections of cross identities between spectator, artist and model.

Keywords : Identity; portrait; gaze; depersonalization; figuration.
