Abstract

LOECK HERNANDEZ, Juan. Diptychs' Time: Analysis of Ruben Ramos Balsa's art process photographic work. Estúdio [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.14, pp.110-118. ISSN 1647-6158.

Rubén Ramos Balsa (Santiago de Compostela, 1978) is a multidisciplinary artist who during the last fifteen years has been immersed in the research and creation of art. His main line of work has been the comparative analysis between time measurement and time representation. This paper precisely analyses the way in which he uses the double image to document process art and experiences. Throughout his work, I also intend to stress the importance of diptychs as an articulating support of event and repetition in the current plastic iconography.

Keywords : diptychs; time; repetition; processual art.
