Abstract

BLAUTH, Lurdi  and  CHRISTO, Fernanda de. Contemporary Art: Olfactory and taste propositions. Estúdio [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.16, pp.130-137. ISSN 1647-6158.

This article is about contemporary art matters, whose limits are diluted in the relations that are established between procedures and form, as well as in the exploitation of other senses, and not only in the appraisal done through vision interpretation. It approaches poetic propositions of Brazilian artists Isabel Sommer and Lucimar Bello, that provoque aesthetic experiences through the senses of smell and taste, generating new dialogues with art.

Keywords : memory; accumulations; creation process; aesthetic experience.
