The article discusses and builds a dialogue of the estrangement concept and the state of rapture with the fact of inhabit in or travelling across a territory, and the contemplation of audiovisual works or landscapes, as parts of our own the experience. It focuses on three audiovisual works: En la Pampa. Vagar en campo raso es... (2008) by Jordi Colomer, Honor de cavalleria (2006) by Albert Serra, and Reel-Unreel (2011) by Francis ALŸS.
