Abstract

The installation of paintings and texts intituled Cabinet of Curiosities is a proposal by the artist Rui Macedo updating hypotyposis as an exercise. The text stimulates the formation of mental images (and imaginary) through literary suggestion, affecting these images into the apparent emptiness of paintings.
