The interaction between the individual and society in the work of Teresa Burga is the object of study of this article. Her varied work Pop paintings and installations, conceptual drawings, objects and cyber installations addresses this interaction, focusing on the human being as a social being pressed by the environment but with the capacity for resistance, reflection and selfdetermination necessary to face the pressures.
