Abstract

To disclose from historical periods and bringing back the deconstructed text, this is the theme for the new context of the current research. The significant praxis of Portuguese artist Francisco Tropa, born in 1968, is elaborated here. His interest in board games is incorporated in multiple installations. Tropa creates a plot of fossil irony and reappropriation at the 2019 installation at the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum. Tropa installed with objects found in the Roman Medicinal Spa of Chaves, city of Portugal, the installation The Pirgo de Chaves, the game, the time, the death.
