Abstract
RODRIGUEZ, Alfonso and CARO, Angélica. Obteniendo Casos de Uso centrados en la Calidad de los Datos desde Procesos de Negocio descritos con BPMN. RISTI [online]. 2012, n.10, pp.65-80. ISSN 1646-9895. https://doi.org/10.4304/risti.10.65-80.
Data quality is considered an important aspect for the success or failure of routine tasks in an organization. Nowadays, most of these tasks are supported by software applications. The early specification of the requirements for these applications is a challenge for software engineering. This paper focuses on early software requirements specification, paying special attention on data quality. These requirements will be captured from business process models described with BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), and expressed through use cases of UML (Unified Model Language). For this purpose we propose a method whereby business experts can model business processes aware of data quality and software engineers can get artifacts useful for creating software.
