Abstract

The study aimed to validate a primer to mediate the teaching-learning of mothers of children from six to twelve months on complementary feeding. Methodological research with mixed approach, held at the University of Pará Campus XIII, in the municipality of Tucuruí -PA. Thirteen judges from the socio- humanistic and health area were participants. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire, applied in the period from December 2016 to March 2017. For the calculation of the index of content validity was used descriptive behavioral statistics and for the qualitative analysis the thematic analysis of convergence. The mean of the items analyzed corresponded to a CVI of 92%. The result pointed to the suitability of the technology as well as the need for improvement. Final considerations: Educational technology was considered statistically valid for use by health professionals with the target audience.
