ALVES, Bárbara Silva et al. The Impact of Humanized Children on Parturients in a Public Hospital. NTQR [online]. 2021, vol.8, pp.270-275. Epub Dec 20, 2021. ISSN 2184-7770. https://doi.org/10.36367/ntqr.8.2021.270-274.
Introduction: Birth and labor bring the challenge of thinking about multiple aspects in order to integrate medical standards for the essential safety of the mother and newborn with the subjective perspectives, not less important, by the meanings each woman attributes to the experience of birth. This way there is the importance of technical scientific knowledge, which, ideally, needs to be side by side with the emotional aspects. This perspective defined this study, which aims to evaluate the impact of humanized childbirth on parturient in a public hospital. Goals: To evaluate the impact of humanized practices on pregnant women in a public hospital through the eyes of a medical resident in her professional training. Methods: Qualitative evaluation of semi-structured questionnaires applied to women submitted to normal humanized delivery, attended at a public hospital, whose data will be analyzed using the Bardin technique. Conclusions: The work data aim to encourage health professionals to have a humanized view of labor and practice it as a routine of normal childbirth at the public hospital.
