The objective of this study is to know the nurses' perception of the characteristics of elderly-friendly primary health care. Method: Descriptive study of qualitative character. Participants five nurses. Data collection instrument: semi-structured interviews. Results: Nurses will emphasize information, training, health education, communication; care management system; physical environment and intervention in the main geriatric syndromes, intervening in partnership, supported by a model that promotes the autonomy of the elderly and family caregivers. Conclusion: Health Centers have to be concerned with promoting safety care systems and environments that optimize the participation of elderly people and families in their health care.
