Abstract
NAZARIO, Murilo and BARCELLOS, Camille. Bibliometric analysis on Burnout syndrome in sport. Psic., Saúde & Doenças [online]. 2023, vol.24, n.3, pp.971-981. Epub Dec 31, 2023. ISSN 1645-0086. https://doi.org/10.15309/23psd240315.
The objective of this study is to analyze national and international scientific productions, based on articles published between 2012 and 2019, related to Burnout in sport. Therefore, a documental research was carried out, supported by Bibliometrics, through the selection of a convenience sample with temporal direction, proposing a systematic review of scientific investigations. Full articles published on the platforms of Periodicals CAPES and Science Direct were used, totaling 41 articles. The results indicate a significant increase in national and international publications on Burnout. The highlight is related to the significant increase in research focused on collective modalities and the decrease in studies on individual sports. It is concluded that Burnout in sport is a relevant and recurring theme in national and international research. The way the field has been organized is intended for greater interest for individual modalities, however this does not mean the exhaustion for new studies in the context of collective modalities. Finally, the relevance of productions by articles is identified to map and discuss the way in which this object has circulated in the scientific field of sport.
