The article seeks to contribute with reflections on research methodology in Human and Social Sciences during the Covid-19 pandemic. The option for remote interviews through Zoom videoconference platform and video call tool in WhatsApp application is analyzed as a methodological strategy of two types of research, one for a doctorate and another for a master’s degree, carried out in the city of Rio de Janeiro in a context of social isolation. The challenges for dialogic construction in research through technological devices are studied, mainly based on the theoretical contribution of the philosophy of Mikhail Bakhtin and his Circle.
