Ménétrier disease is a rare disease with an unknown ethiology. A 43-year-old man presented at our emergency department with vomiting and oedema of the legs. Diagnosis of Ménétrier disease was based on clinical, laboratory and histological examination of biopsies performed on gastroscopy. After erradication of Helicobacter pylori there was a regression of all clinical complaints and histological abnormalities.
