The purpose of this article is to reflect critically on works by Brazilian artist Paulo Nazareth, considering his artistic work as a cultural and relational practice, and approaching the artist of the ethnographer. Wanderer, performative, leaving the neighborhood Palmital outskirts of Belo Horizonte (MG), Brazil, the artist has traveled various paths that led him to India, Africa, the Americas and Europe.
