The study’s objective is to analyze the influence of the variable cities of residence, gender, marital status, and level of education on social physical anxiety (AFS) and its dimensions “Comfortable With Your Physique Appearance - CASF” and “Negative Expectation with Your Physique Appearance- ENCASF”. In the study, 384 individuals who practiced physical exercises responded to the Social Physical Anxiety Scale adapted by Malheiro and Gouveia (2001). In the treatment of data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The results made it possible to conclude that the subjects who practiced physical exercises showed different levels of social physical anxiety. There are statistically significant differences in the variables cities of residence, school level in the negative expectation with your physique appearance dimension. It is also concluded that there are statistically significant differences in the variables Cities of Residence and sex in the Negative Expectation with Your Physic Appearance dimension.
