The digital transition opens an opportunity to enrich students' engagement and experience in creating content relevant to society. In this context, the TRUE platform was developed to fill a gap in tools to support the creation of digital school newspapers that enhance students' writing skills. The platform offers features that help users navigate an integrated environment, facilitating news writing and empowering students to think critically. This article focuses on evaluating the user experience of the TRUE platform in a real-life user environment. Since this platform was developed using the Design-Based Research methodological approach, the evaluation described here allowed for the improvement of the product. The results include data from the rounds, phases, and moments of data collection. The TRUE platform was assessed with a focus on user experience and usability, using the System Usability Scale and the Self-Assessment Manikin.
