FREIRE, José Lucínio de Oliveira; CAVALCANTE, Lourival Ferreira; NASCIMENTO, Ronaldo do y REBEQUI, Alex Matheus. Chlorophyll content of leaf and mineral composition of passion fruits irrigated with saline water and biofertilizers. Rev. de Ciências Agrárias [online]. 2013, vol.36, n.1, pp.57-70. ISSN 0871-018X.
The work had for objective to evaluate to the mineral nutrition and photosynthetic pigment content at the time of firstflowering of the yellow passion fruit plant. The treatments were disposed in randomized blocks 2x2x2 factorially arranged. The treatments were irrigated with water of low (0.5 dS m-1) and high salinity (4.5 dS m-1), with and without bovinebiofertilizers, with and without mulch. In the full flowering of the plants were evaluated the content of macronutrients N,P, K, Ca, Mg and S in dry matter of leaf tissue and the concentration of chlorophyll a, b, total carotenoids in the dry plants. The treatment plants were adequately supplied with biofertilizers in nitrogen, potassium, magnesium and sulfur. Theirrigation with saline water has caused imbalance in the accumulation of leaf potassium, calcium and magnesium. Thebovine biofertilizer attenuated the depressive effects of salts in pigment chlorophyllian and carotenoids of yellow passionfruit. The mulching increased the photosynthetic condition of yellow passion fruit irrigated with saline water.
