The importance of tourism in Portugal is undeniable, since it represents approximately 13% of GDP and 12% of employability. In this sense, following Tourism Marketing strategies requires a detailed knowledge of the needs and preferences of tourists. In this context, Spain is one of the most representative source markets of tourists to Portugal, so analyze the needs and preferences of Spanish tourists may play an important role in the Portuguese tourism management. Thus, the main objective of the present work is to identify and describe the profile of Spanish tourists who visited Portugal in the last 5 years, in order to help the management of the Portuguese tourism. The results reveal that Lisbon was the region of Portugal most visited by the Spanish tourists, followed by Algarve and Northern Portugal. And, generally, the Spanish tourists positively evaluate the attributes analyzed, which directly influences their loyalty.
