^lpt^aO futebol nos musseques e nas empresas de Luanda (1950-1960). O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a vivência colonial em Luanda nas suas duas últimas décadas através de determinadas práticas desportivas existentes na cidade. A partir do jornal Angola Desportiva iremos observar o desporto corporativo e o mais popular torneio de futebol de bairro na colónia. Dessa forma, pretendemos realçar as mudanças na estratégia de controlo dos angolanos por parte das autoridades coloniais e a expansão económica da colónia, que geraram um novo dinamismo nas zonas mais pobres da cidade e induziram alterações nas ações comerciais das empresas.^len^aFootball in the slums and business enterprises of Luanda (1950-1960). The aim of this paper is to analyze the colonial experiences in Luanda in its final two decades through the lens of sports activities in the city. Using articles in the newspaper Angola Desportiva we observe sports in the corporate environment and the neighborhood football tournaments. We highlight the changes in the Angolan control strategy exercised by the colonial authorities and the economic expansion of the colony, creating a new dynamism in the poorest areas of the city and inducing changes in commercial activities among the firms.
