^lpt^aEsta nota tem como objetivo discutir a questão industrial no contexto paulista. Aborda, nesse sentido, pela perspectiva histórica e geográfica a visão da industrialização, em suas diferentes leituras. Para tanto, procura periodizar o entendimento da dimensão industrial à luz de seus distintos momentos, relacionando, quando possível, as variáveis concernentes às transformações na dinâmica territorial paulista tanto pretéritas quanto recentes^len^aThis note aims to discuss the industrialisation in the context of the state of São Paulo. The topic of industrialisation will be approached from the historical and geographical perspectives. Thus, we will try to understand the industrial dimension taking into account its different moments, relating, when possible, the variables concerning the transformation in territorial dynamics in São Paulo state both in the past and in the present^lfr^aCette note de recherche a pour objectif d'argumenter la question industrielle dans le contexte de São Paulo. Elle aborde, en ce sens, par la perspective historique et géographique, la vision de l'industrialisation, dans ses différentes interprétations.
