^lpt^aEste texto analisa as origens helénicas da Misoginia, apresentando as principais contribuições para um repertório ideológico e literário que a cultura de Roma acrescentará com um impacto mais próximo. Abordar-se-á depois a forma como, no seio do Cristianismo nascente, a herança judaica, presente na Bíblia, se relaciona com a retórica misógina clássica, e o mito de Pandora é sistematicamente misturado com o de Eva. Observar-se-á como a palavra escrita e a sua exegese foram marcantes na continuidade de ideias e fórmulas, sempre presentes, mas a que a herança cultural dá maior fundamento.^len^aThis paper analyses the Hellenic sources of Misogyny, introducing the main contributions to an ideological and literary repertoire to which Roman culture would add with a closer impact. Then, we examine the way, within the budding Christianity, Jewish heritage, present in the Bible, relates with the classical misogynistic rhetoric, and Pandora’s myth is systematically mixed with that of Eve. We will observe how written word and its exegesis contributed decisively towards the continuity of ideas and formulae, always present, but deeply founded on cultural heritage.
