^lpt^aO presente artigo pretende ser reflexão entre desenho e o texto Entre o Céu e a Terra, de Rui Chafes. Na sua análise contemplativa, o artigo procura a imagem que dá forma ao que permanece entre o céu e a terra: o meio. Engendrar o invisível - espaço-céu e espaço-terra - e o visível - vida-interior e vida-exterior. No primeiro caso, examinamos um espaço de opacidade e transparência como aspetos de um processo reversível e, no segundo, concebemos a visibilidade de um corpo que, interior-exterior, documenta uma imagem: o desenho - disciplina, exercício e esquisso de linguagem na arte. Walter Benjamin e Gaston Bachelard, acompanham e sustentam a pretensão de urdir o laço entre obra-criador e desenho. Entre o Céu e a Terra, no seu enredo com o mundo, é morada de uma vontade exploradora que, inscrita, pertence ao Homem que investiga. O texto de Rui Chafes revela-nos a imagem que procuramos: o desenho.^len^aThis paper aims to reflect on drawing and Rui Chafes text Between Heaven and Earth. In its contemplative analysis, this paper searches for the image that gives form to what is between heaven and earth: the medium. Engendering the invisible - sky-space and earth-space - and the visible - the inner-life and outer-life. In the first instance, I have examined areas of opacity and transparency as aspects of a reversible process and in the second, I have conceived the visibility of a body, inside-outside, that documents an image: the drawing - as a discipline, exercise and sketch of a language in art. Walter Benjamin and Gaston Bachelard support and uphold the aim of weaving the bond between the work-creator and drawing. Between Heaven and Earth, in its entanglement with the world, is the dwelling place of a explorative will which, when inscribed, belongs to the man who investigates. Rui Chafes text reveals to us the image that we are looking for: the drawing.
