MARTINS, Wesley A. et al. Cutting and concentration of plant regulators on rooting of Campomanesia adamantium. []. , 38, 1, pp.58-64. ISSN 0871-018X.

Campomanesia gender occurs at different biotopes of Cerrado, which have 25 species that are distributed from Mexico to Argentina, from those 15 native from Brazil and with great economic potential. In these circumstances, one of the main problems related to the crop expansion of this specie is cutting production because multiplication on great scale is not possible since seeds are recalcitrant, they promote variability among plants. Cuttings propagation is a practical, simple and economic alternative because it does not have the disadvantage of the use of sexual propagation. The aim of this work was to evaluate different dates of rooting of cuttings, cutting types, plant regulators and their concentrations on root induction of gabiroba cuttings. Three experiments were established (December, February and May). Cuttings were evaluated weekly from emergence to first bud, which rooting, sprouting, died cuttings percentage and number of buds were analyzed. It was observed that woody cuttings are better to be used in plant propagation of this specie when they are compared with herbaceous cutting and that harvest date influences on rooting and sprouting of gabiroba cuttings. Hormonal stimulation is efficient and varies according to harvest date.
