ALBRECHT, Leandro Paiola    ALBRECHT, Alfredo Junior Paiola. Philosophy of agronomy: a proposal for an epistemological analysis. []. , 45, 1-2, pp.1-10.   19--2022. ISSN 0871-018X.  https://doi.org/10.19084/rca.26300.

Agronomic science, like others in contemporary times, is marked by great achievements, technological bias, social importance and very prolific. However, the theoretical framework relevant to the philosophical reflection on agronomic science and its implications is scarce. In this sense, philosophical attention to its construction, scientific production and impacts on the creation of a philosophy of agronomy is justified. The objective of the present work was to analyze agronomic research and its generation of knowledge and technology, from the perspective of the philosophy of science. A bibliographic review was carried out based on a qualitative research work, through research in relevant literature, establishing an approximation with the objectives in a descriptive, interpretive, and critical way. The research axis was the theory of knowledge, in which epistemologically agronomy is predominantly empiricist, suffered positivist influences and can be relativized, not being autonomous and exempt. Scientific production in the agronomic area is the result of time and meets human demands, following the trends of society and being influenced by epistemological currents, in which the philosophy of agronomy can be built, which presents enormous challenges.
