^lpt^aEste artigo fornece-nos um insight sobre metodologia e análise de dados aplicada às representações sociais. Em primeiro lugar, apresentamos um quadro conceptual sobre representações sociais e os domínios do constructo que justificam a análise para o identificar. Depois, apresentamos uma análise conceptual acerca de elementos cognitivos, tais como protótipos e esquemas, que nos ajudam a construir mapas cognitivos onde se identifica a estrutura da representação social. Em segundo lugar, exploramos diferentes metodologias de recolha de dados e mostramos como estas metodologias nos remetem para resultados diferentes. Finalmente, identificamos diferentes técnicas de análise de dados que são aplicáveis às representações sociais, tais como a análise de similitude, a análise de correspondências, o MDS e o INDSCAL.^len^aThis paper provide us an insight about methodology and data analysis on social representation. On a first time we present a conceptual framework on social representation and the domains on the construct that justify analysis to identify it. Then we explain a conceptual analysis about cognitive elements, like prototypes and schemas, that help us to build the cognitive maps where we identify the structure of the social representation. On a second time we explore the different methodologies on data collection and how they send to different results. Finally we identify the different techniques on data analysis that are applied on social representations, similarity analysis, correspondence analysis, and MDS and INDSCAL.
