BRAGA, Marta Cristina Mendes. The composition of “landscape-woman” in Charles Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du Mal. []. , 48, pp.131-148.   20--2023. ISSN 0874-6885.  https://doi.org/10.34619/1xqo-unle.

In this paper, will analyze the notion of “landscape-woman” in the literary imaginary of Charles Baudelaire. In articulation with the author’s considerations on evil, such notion will be analyzed in several essayistic texts, namely in Notes Nouvelles sur Edgar Poe, in Le Peintre de la Vie Moderne and in Salon de 1859, just like in some poems from Les Fleurs du Mal, where woman and landscape become each other, being woman toponomized and the landscape feminized, forming a hybrid and indiscernible composition as far as the definition of conceptual boundaries is concerned.

: landscape; woman; evil; eroticism.
