^lpt^aObjetivo: Explorar o universo de experiências que envolve o adolescer com o Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana (HIV). Métodos: Participaram seis adolescentes que conhecem seu diagnóstico positivo para o HIV, idades entre 11 e 14 anos, e que realizam tratamento em um hospital do sul do Brasil. As informações foram coletadas mediante a utilização do Desenho da Figura Humana e posterior inquérito. A análise foi realizada segundo critérios da Análise de Conteúdo Clássica. Resultados: Observam-se projeções de/sobre figuras humanas com idade e características bem próximas das suas. As preocupaçõesestão relacionadasa incertezas profissionais e possibilidade de ficarem órfãos.O grupo familiar e amigos assumem um papel importante na consolidação de vínculos e suporte social, sendo expressos, na maioria das vezes, como aspectos positivos. Conclusão: Aliar o Desenho da Figura Humana com posterior inquérito mostrou-se importante na construção do rapporte como ummeio de estabelecimento de vínculos^len^aObjective: Exploring the universe of experiences that involves the process of becoming adolescent with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Methods: The participants were six teenagers with knowledge of their positive HIV diagnosis, with ages between 11 to 14 years old, and were treated in a hospital in southern Brazil. The information was collected through the use of the Human Figure Drawing and further survey. The analysis was performed according to the criteria of Classical Content Analysis. Results: Projections were observed of/about human figures with age and characteristics similar to theirs. The concerns are related to professional uncertainties and the possibility of becoming orphans. The family group and friends play an important role in the consolidation of ties and social support, being expressed, in most cases, as positive aspects. Conclusion: Combining the Human Figure Drawing with subsequent investigation proved to be important in building rapport and as a means of establishing ties.
