O atendimento em cuidados paliativos exige de todos os profissionais uma postura ética e humanizada, a fim de cuidar de demandas física, emocionais, sociais e espirituais do paciente e seus familiares. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar atos de humanização na atuação em Cuidados Paliativos e o papel do psicólogo neste contexto. Para isto, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa com descritores português, inglês e espanhol. Foi possível encontrar 109 artigos, sendo que 24 foram lidos na íntegra e 18 selecionados para a realização deste trabalho. Os resultados encontrados permitiram compreender a importância da assistência humanizada ao paciente e a sua família, enfatizando a melhora na comunicação e nos relacionamentos; a atuação do psicólogo em cuidados paliativos, principalmente no momento da morte; a valorização da presença dos profissionais de saúde e do cuidador; e a importância do paciente escolher seu tratamento. Os resultados permitiram concluir que ações de humanização são fundamentais para o melhor atendimento do paciente em cuidados paliativos e que o psicólogo atua com o objetivo de promover qualidade de vida ao paciente e auxiliar com questões referentes à finitude.

Palliative care assistance requires an ethical and humanized attitude from all professionals, in order to take care of the physical, emotional, social and spiritual demands of the patient and his family. In this sense, the objective of this work was to identify acts of humanization in the performance in Palliative Care and the role of the psychologist in this context. For this, an integrative review was carried out with descriptors Portuguese, English and Spanish. It was possible to find 109 articles, 24 of which were read in full and 18 selected for this work. The results found allowed to understand the importance of humanized assistance to the patient and his family, emphasizing the improvement in communication and relationships; the psychologist's performance in palliative care, especially at the moment of death; valuing the presence of health professionals and caregivers; and the importance of the patient choosing his treatment. The results allowed us to conclude that humanization actions are fundamental for better patient care in palliative care and that the psychologist acts with the objective of promoting quality of life to the patient and assisting with issues related to finitude.
