The study has a descriptive, cross-sectional and quantitative approach conducted with 100 patients. The SF-36 questionnaire and AQUAREL were used to assess Quality of Life (QOL). Results: the average age was 64.7 years. There was a predominance of females, low education, low income, single individuals and no work activity. Regarding the assessment of QOL by AQUAREL, which concerns the domain Distribution to exercise, patients without a partner (p = 0.01) and without work activity (p = 0.003) underwent worse evaluation. Smoking patients had a worse assessment in the Chest Discomfort domain (p = 0.003). Patients who suffered Stroke Stroke suffered worse evaluations in the Exercise Distribution (p = 0.006) and Chest Discomfort (p <0.0001) domains. The QOL was more compromised in social and pain aspects. In QoL specialized in cardiac symptoms, compromising more in the exercise dimension, especially in individuals without partner and economically inactive. Smoking and stroke prevent risk factors for worse QOL in chest discomfort domain.
