SOARES, Adélia; VIEIRA, Larissa    VERGARA, Clarice. Hospital nutritional surveillance and its economic and social issues: scope review. []. , 24, 3, pp.1153-1161.   31--2023. ISSN 1645-0086.  https://doi.org/10.15309/23psd240329.

Food and nutrition surveillance consists of describing and predicting trends in food and nutrition conditions and determining factors in the population, including surveillance in health services, data from health information systems, population surveys, nutritional calls and scientific production. Conduct a survey of studies and strategies related to nutritional surveillance in the hospital environment, including health and social issues related to the topic. A total of 418 publications were found, of which only 7 were selected for this review. Of the 7 studies, 2 were published in the same year (28.6%) and 2 had a common main author (28.6%). The investigation of the adequacy of nutritional assistance offered by hospital institutions with the establishment of guidelines and hospital malnutrition or its risk were the themes most frequently found in the selected studies.
