^lpt^aEste artigo discute algumas tendências concernentes à natureza e ao significado dos conflitos docentes ocorridos no Brasil entre os anos de 1998 e 2003, a partir de suas manifestações acolhidas ou preconizadas pelos sindicatos. Procura-se identificar e analisar os conflitos manifestos no período, desenvolver reflexão sobre a especificidade do trabalho docente e apresentar alguns aportes teóricos para ampliar a compreensão desses fenômenos. Como resultado, buscou-se quantificar e qualificar os conflitos, identificando os protagonistas e analisando a principal motivação desses, seus desenlaces e as vitórias obtidas. Conclui-se que o trabalho pedagógico vem sendo reestruturado nos últimos anos, em decorrência das reformas educacionais empreendidas, o que pode estar dando lugar a novos problemas, conflitos e resistências, como expressão da insatisfação dos docentes.^len^aThis article discusses some trends concerning the meaning and nature of the teacher ´s conflicts that occurred em Brazil from 1998 to 2003, considering their manifestation either supported or praised by the unions. It tries to identify and analyse the conflicts that took place in that period and reflects about the particular nature of the teaching work, and also presents some technical support to increase the understanding of these phenomena. As a result, there is an attempt to quantify and qualify the conflicts, identifyng the protagonists and analysing their main motivations, outcomes and achievements. The conclusion is that the pedagogical work has been rebuit in the latest years, due to the educational reforms, which may be creating new problems, conflicts and resistance to express the dissatisfaction of the teachers.
