^lpt^aA aprovação da Constituição da República Portuguesa em 2 de abril de 1976 representou o princípio do fim do processo de transição para a democracia em Portugal. Consequentemente, a normalização política que se começou a sentir na recém-nascida democracia portuguesa teve o seu impacto também ao nível internacional. Se o processo de democratização português foi acompanhado atentamente pelos diferentes atores internacionais, quer da Europa, quer pelas duas superpotências (Estados Unidos e União Soviética), a concretização do modelo político de democracia representativa e pluralista acabaria de vez com as hesitações e desconfianças internacionais. Neste artigo iremos analisar em detalhe o modo como a República Federal da Alemanha acompanhou o processo constituinte em Portugal.^len^aThe adoption of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic on April 2, 1976 marked the beginning of the end of the democratic transition in Portugal. Consequently, the political normalization that was felt in the brand new Portuguese democracy had its impact at the international level. If the process. of Portuguese democratization was closely followed by different international actors, whether in Europe or the two superpowers (USA and USSR), the implementation of the political model of representative and pluralist democracy would definitely put an end to the international hesitations and misgivings. In this article we will analyze how the Federal Republic of Germany followed the constitutional process in Portugal.
