The injury site and type were investigated as well as some associated factor such as gender, age, training experience, daily exercise time, and frequency of training and weekly running volume. A total of 77 volunteers form both genders, aged between 20 and 62 years, 57,1% males and 42,9% females, with higher prevalence od individuals between 20 - 26 years (33,8%) were studied with the help of a questionnaire. 47,7% of men and 17% of women reported some type of injury and the most prevalent age category was 33 - 38 years, amounting 64,4%. The results of the present study are relevant and show a high prevalence of injury. Since most participants reported to have professional guidance in their training program, it is concluded that training guidance may present gaps.
