This paper focuses on what here is called the 'Grand Narrative.' From the analysis of conversations/interviews with 27 portuguese artists and leveraged by a joint reading of two works of the portuguese artist Antonio Olaio, this paper propose a manifesto called 'The Grand Narrative' acting as a reflexive tool.
