^lpt^aO artigo tem como foco a trajetória fotográfica e artística de Miguel Rio Branco (nasceu em Las Palmas, nas ilhas Canárias, em 1946). O livro SilentBook (1997), um livro sempalavras, foi eleito para se pensar acerca das relações que Miguel Rio Branco estabelece em seu trabalho entre o tempo, o documento e o universo da arte. Imagens barrocas com foco no lixo, prostíbulos e academias de boxe decadentes esgarçam o tecido do documento fotográfico, refletem sobre o tempo e adentram o universo da arte. Rouillé (2009), Dubois (1998) e Sousa (2004) darão suporte a esta reflexão. Finalizando, julga-se encontrar nessas imagens e em seus encadeamentos a explicitação do conceito de imagem cristal (Deleuze, 2005; Fatorelli, 2003).
