^lpt^aEste artigo analisa a expressividade plástica de História Trágica com Final Feliz (2005), obra da animadora portuguesa Regina Pessoa, que conta sobre uma jovem que não se ajusta à comunidade. Num ambiente intimista mas com uma narrativa visual dramática em preto e branco, a representação dessa tensão emocional da personagem, remete às xilogravuras do brasileiro Oswaldo Goeldi e obras do cinema expressionista alemão, em especial o Gabinete do Dr. Caligari (1920), de Robert Weine.^len^aThis paper examines the plastic expressiveness of Tragic Story with Happy Ending (2005), a work of portuguese animator Regina Pessoa, who tells of a girl who does not fit the community. In an intimate setting but with a dramatic visual narrative in black and white, the representation of that character's emotional tension, refers to the woodcuts of brazilian Oswaldo Goeldi and works of german expressionist cinema, especially the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), by Robert Weine.
