^lpt^aAnalisamos um filme de Luciano Sherer, "Ruby" sobre o estereótipo de um artista. Há a construção de uma "persona" pela produção de documentos de lembranças ficcionais. Mas toda a encenação é efeito crítico onde Sherer trabalha com a figura do jovem artista frente a uma série de papéis: o trágico, que busca a recuperação de uma perda, que se identifica com o escuro, que busca o invisível, e que trabalha com o oculto e a sombra. O objetivo é a criação de uma superficção, onde o estereótipo é utilizado para chegar à identificação do próprio artista com o personagem.^len^aThis article analyses a movie by Luciano Sherer, "Ruby", about the artist's stereotype. There is a construction of a "persona" through the production of documents of fictional memories. But all the script has a critical effect when Sherer uses the identity of a young artist facing different roles: the tragic that seeks the recuperation of a loss, or looks for the invisible and deals with the shadow and the negative. The objective is the creation of a super fiction, where the stereotype is used to reach the identification of the artist on his own as a character.
