^lpt^aO artigo proposto tem por objetivo refletir acerca do trabalho seminal da fotógrafa artista Maureen Bisilliat, Pele preta. O ensaio fotográfico Pele preta foi realizado na década de 1960. A série aqui trabalhada é composta por 23 imagens em preto e branco de três modelos negros: uma mulher, um homem e uma criança, além de imagens de ex-votos. Através dessas imagens a artista afirma sua visão política e social da sociedade brasileira aliada a uma poética da luz com traços surrealistas. Conceitos como o de Fotografia Menor (Gonçalves, 2009) e o de Imagem Cristal (Deleuze, 2007; Fatorelli, 2003) estarão presentes.^len^aThe proposed article aims to reflect on the seminal work of photographer artist Maureen Bisilliat, Black Skin. The photographic Black Skin essay was conducted in the 1960s. The series consists of 23 black and white images of three black models: a woman, a man and a child, and votive images. Through these images the artist asserts her political and social vision of Brazilian society combined with a poetic light with surrealist features. Concepts such as Photography Minor (Gonçalves, 2009) and the Crystal Image (Deleuze, 2007; Fatorelli 2003) will be present.
