^lpt^aO artigo discorre sobre o trabalho da artista Alice Geirinhas a partir de três pontos interrelacionados: texto escrito e imagem desenhada; a abordagem do feminino por meio destes elementos em diferentes momentos de seu trabalho; eapesquisa em arte autobiográfica desenvolvida em sua tese de doutoramento. O que se percebe é uma convergência de fatores distintos que encontra em seu livro de artista Visual Manifesto (2016) expressão singular da relação entre a imagem e o texto.^len^aThis paper discusses the work of the artist Alice Geirinhas from three interrelated points: written text and drawn image; the approach of the feminine through these elements at different moments of her work; and the autobiographical art research developed in her PhD thesis. What is erceived is aconvergence of distinct factors that find in her artist's book Visual Manifesto (2016) a singular expression of the relation between image and text.
