^lpt^aO presente artigo desenvolve uma breve reflexão sobre a obra plástica do artista brasileiro Felippe Moraes, nascida de uma aliança aparentemente paradoxal entre metodologia científica e busca espiritual. Ao longo do texto são analisadas não só as suas motivações como as obras que lhes dão forma. Conclui-se que a obra de Moraes é um elogio singular à condição humana, e ao ímpeto da busca por compreendê-la nas suas distintas dimensões.^len^aThe following article develops a brief reflection on the plastic work of the brazilian artist Felippe Moraes, triggered by a seemingly paradoxical alliance between scientific methodology and spiritual search. Throughout the text not only his motivations are analyzed but also the works that were shaped by them. It is concluded that the body of work of Moraes is a singular praise to the human condition, and to the permanent quest to understand it in its distinct dimensions.
