^lpt^aEste artigo analisa o trabalho do artista brasileiro Fercho Marquéz (1982), mais especificamente as instalações e esculturas onde ele trata de questões relativas à instauração da escultura, como contenção, molde e resistência. Pretende-se fazer uma metáfora de sua poética com questões políticas: a imposição à sujeição, o manuseio e a morte simbólica. O objetivo é enaltecer aquilo que escapa, se rebela, se subleva e se insurge neste processo de contenções da obra em se fazendo.^len^aThis article analyzes the work of the Brazilian artist Fercho Marquéz (1982), more specifically the installations and sculptures where he deals with questions related to the instauration of sculpture, such as containment, mold and resistance. It is intended to make a metaphor of his poetics with political issues: the imposition of subjection, manipulation and symbolic death. The objective is to exalt what escapes, rebels, revolts and insists in this process of contention of the work in doing.
