^lpt^aO artigo apresenta o modo como o Estranho é um recurso formal utilizado pelo artista Fernando Maselli (Buenos Aires, 1978) para construir um percurso para uma interpretação no universo do Transcendental. Centra-se em duas séries 'Indagaciones acerca de lo Sublime' (2015) e 'Anunciación' (2014-15) e pretende colocar em evidência como a manipulação de imagens naturalistas, induzindo através da ideia de estranho, indefinição espacial e temporal, proporciona uma alusão ao transcendental, sobretudo ao Sublime.^len^aThe article presents how the Stranger is a formal resource used by the artist Fernando Maselli (Buenos Aires, 1978) to construct a course for an interpretation in the universe of the Transcendental. It focuses on two series 'Inquiries about the Sublime' (2015) and 'Anunciación' (2014-15) and intends to highlight how the manipulation of naturalistic images, inducing through the idea of strange, spatial and temporal indefinition, provides an allusion to the transcendental, especially the Sublime.
